I am a fine art major and yet, the longer I am in college, the more I have re-discovered my love for writing. Somehow, I have managed to find a way to blend both my artistic abilities and my love of writing through designing and writing for the student newspaper/magazine. 

     The artifacts, found in the Outcomes linked above, reflect the work I have done both for publication through Arches and Archesnews.com as well as in the classroom. Each of them has allowed me to strengthen my writing abilities and fall back in love with the written word.

     It is my desire to continue to use my talents in this blended way to teach the future generations of designers, journalists, and photojournalists in a classroom setting.
